Vancouver 2010

4:46 pm - Post Category: Nickness

Vancouver is seriously starting to show the level of things with having the Olympics in town this Friday.

We saw a lot of various sources complaining and wasting their energy protesting and overall just whining about the Olympics, but nobody can escape the truth that they are starting on Friday.

Today in The Province news paper reads a headline that all of the normal people already knew about the nay-sayers: cynic has tears come to eyes at opening ceremony rehearsal.

Even the most negative towards these games can see the good in them if they just open their eyes and quit annoying people because they've got nothing better to do.

This is the single most impressive event I've witnessed in my life....and I'm damn proud its happening in the city I was born in!

Look at the pride people have in Canada, and how much people have embraced these games, and they haven't even began. I'm not the only proud Vancouverite.

I may not drive but if I did, I completely understand the road closures and I do feel for the drivers, but this is NEVER going to happen again, so deal with it, plan a different way to work, take transit, and enjoy it instead of wasting everyone's time and your energy, maybe put that energy towards something useful.
